Learning to play the didgeridoo is a fascinating journey into the world of unique sounds and rhythms. To get started, it’s important to first become familiar with the basic drone sound that defines the instrument. During your initial lessons, you'll learn how to produce this fundamental tone, using your lips to create the necessary vibrations. Once you’ve mastered the drone, the next step is to tackle circular breathing—a technique essential for continuous play. Circular breathing involves inhaling through the nose while simultaneously pushing air out of the mouth using air stored in your cheeks. This might sound complex, but with simple exercises, you'll gradually build the coordination required. Our sessions, available via Zoom or in person if you're nearby, will guide you through these techniques with personalized feedback and support. Each session is over 20 minutes, providing ample time to refine your skills and ask questions.
